The San Diego Center for Economic Education at Cuyamaca College your premier provider of economic programs for K-12 schools in San Diego County and surrounding areas. The San Diego Center for Economic Education (SDCEE) helps schools to integrate the teaching of economics across all grade levels.
The SDCEE provides a variety of quality programs, classes and workshops that enable teachers to help students meet California State Standards in Economics and to have the practical knowledge and skills necessary to become vital members of the local and global economy.
The San Diego Center for Economic Education is an affiliate of the California Council on Economic Education (CCEE) and the Council for Economic Education (CEE).

YOU'RE INVITED!
We have an exciting free professional development event coming up on August 7, 2012, and we would love to have you join us! The event is called Meet the Experts (MTE), and it's a full day filled with speakers from within the Fed. The agenda is still in development, but the speakers will come from various business lines (for example, Cash Product Office, Bank Supervision & Regulation) and discuss their work and how it relates to the greater American economy. Most excitingly, the day will also incorporate a live video conference with Chairman Ben Bernanke, who will provide some short remarks and then address questions from teachers who be turned in across the United States. MTE is structured to truly be a professional development event, as teachers bolster their own knowledge about the Fed so that they are more confident in teaching economics or other related social studies classes. Also, you'll be able to network with other local high school teachers.

Request Our Resources for Use in Your Classroom
It’s easy! Just go to your branch public library and make an interlibrary loan request of the San Diego Center for Economic Education (SDCEE) materials.
Obtain a San Diego County Library (SDCL) card or already be a cardholder.
Contact your local branch library and ask them to place an interlibrary loan request for you.
Fill out the patron request form (branch staff will assist with this) with your information and the information of the materials being requested.
Branch staff will notify you when your materials have arrived.
