Now accepting high school student applications for summer sessions
Economics for Leaders The Economics for Leaders program is a weeklong residential program devoted to the development of future leaders. The EFL program is designed to teach the next generation of leaders how to integrate economics into the process of decision-making through a hands-on, experiential environment. Economics professors and leadership instructors, selected nationwide for their expertise and teaching effectiveness, lead classes that will introduce students to economics principles and leadership theories. These sessions are followed by creative decision-making simulations in which students and their peers apply the concepts learned in the classroom in fun and challenging activities.
Cost Lodging, meals, and materials provided by the Foundation for Teaching Economics. Students who are accepted into the program will be responsible for transportation to and from the program site, incidental spending money, and a site-specific program fee from $125 to $200.
