CCEE San Diego strongly supports the Money Wise Teen progam. Over the last couple years, six workshops have been held throughout San Diego County.

Money Wise Teen is designed to teach basic economic concepts (scarcity, opportunity cost, etc.) in a financial context, the MoneyWiseTeen is a web based series of ten animated vignettes that describe situations your students will recognize. Paula and Jerome are in love, get married, and ignore scarcity with the expected results. Diana uses benefit/cost analysis to decide on a car. The teacher guide includes activity based lessons that will help you bring the lesson from the Web into the classroom. The program is designed to help teachers implement the California Standards.
